I have a great love for museums, specifically engaging with school groups and families, helping to make ancient history come to life! I particularly enjoy mythology and legends, especially telling stories to people. I have an amazingly supportive wife and without her, I would not be in the fantastic place I am today. I have two great kids, who will hopefully one day follow my path in museums and become young volunteers at the Egypt Centre.

My role at the Egypt Centre includes leading school visits, running holiday workshops, and training new volunteers. I have created many workshops, both in-person and online, for the museum. I’ve designed a school activity that incorporates significant STEM elements, using the Egyptian pyramids as a focal point.

I run a free outreach programme in my free time, where I deliver family-friendly workshops during school holidays. I have created videos, which can be found on the Egypt Centre’s YouTube channel, telling stories from ancient Egypt.
