Celebrate a truly unforgettable birthday at the Egypt Centre! Immerse your child in the magic of ancient Egypt with interactive activities, fascinating artefacts, and expert guidance. Our knowledgeable staff will lead your child and their friends on a thrilling adventure through time, exploring the mysteries of the pharaohs and discovering the wonders of ancient Egyptian civilization. From mummification workshops to treasure hunts, your child will create memories that will last a lifetime. Book your child’s birthday party at the Egypt Centre today and make it a celebration they’ll never forget!

What We Offer

We can host up to 10 children for a fun-filled party that includes 90 minutes of interactive, staff-led activities and 30 minutes of playtime in our dedicated party area. For just £10 per child, your little ones will embark on an unforgettable journey through ancient Egypt, discovering the mysteries of the pharaohs and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Our party packages cater to every child’s unique preferences (suitable for ages 6–12).

Note that birthday parties are only available on Saturdays.

Bes

Our Bes package is perfect for younger audiences and consists of the following:

Story Time: Listen to two thrilling tales from ancient Egypt: “The Jumping Prince” and “The Shipwrecked Sailor.”

Build Your Own Pyramid: Construct and decorate your very own pyramid to take home.

Treasure Hunt Adventure: Kids will search the museum for hidden ancient artefacts.

Bes was a friendly dwarf who helped protect people and made sure everyone had fun at parties.

Anubis

Our Anubis package is popular with creative children who like a challenge:

Mummification: Participate in a complete mummification ritual using our life-size dummy. You’ll remove organs, wrap bandages, and perform a sacred ceremony.

Pyramid Building Challenge: Learn about the history of pyramids and then compete in teams to build the tallest structure using plastic straws.

Sobek

Our Sobek package is perfect for curious children who love to explore and learn:

Animal Magic: Discover the link between gods and animals. Play the “Animal in the Bag” guessing game. Hold a replica mummified cat named Alex and learn why animals were mummified.

The Home: Explore ancient Egyptian domestic life, then create and colour a house to take home.

Hathor

Our Hathor package is ideal for children who love to dress up and immerse themselves in ancient Egyptian culture:

Dress Up and Play: Become an ancient Egyptian and discover different roles and jobs from that time. Perhaps you’ll be a royal queen or a soldier in the Egyptian army.

Gods and Goddesses: Tremble with fear at Seth’s wicked deeds and marvel at Horus’ glory in this captivating tale of magic and betrayal. Dress up and take part in this ancient story of the gods.

Hathor was a beloved Egyptian goddess associated with love, motherhood, and music.

Isis

Our Isis package is designed for those children who are competitive and inquisitive:

Senet: Play the thrilling board game of the ancient Egyptians, a game of luck and strategy that has been enjoyed for thousands of years.

Ancient Artefacts: Handle real artefacts from over 2000 years ago, including pottery, jewellery, and tools, and learn about their significance in ancient Egyptian society.

Create Your Crown: Decorate your own paper crown to take home with you, inspired by the elaborate crowns worn by ancient Egyptian pharaohs and nobles.

Isis was a powerful Egyptian goddess associated with motherhood, magic, and healing.

Seth

This option allows you to customise your party with a choice of our exciting activities (see above).

Please note that activities take 30 minutes, except for The Home, Dress Up and Play, and Pyramid Building Challenge, each of which takes 1 hour. You should select 2–3 activities to fill your 90-minute party.
