Toilets

There are toilets located on both the ground floor and the first floor of the Taliesin building.

On the ground floor, there are two unisex toilets and one accessible toilet. For more information on this accessible toilet, click here.

On the first floor, there are separate male and female toilets. There is also an ambulant toilet on this floor, which does not fulfill the requirements of an accessible toilet.

The toilets are regularly cleaned and maintained throughout the day.

The nearest Changing Places Toilet is located in the Brangwyn Hall. More information can be found here.

Lift

There is a lift available for visitors who require it. This gives access to all parts of the Taliesin building, including the Egypt Centre.

In the event of the lift being out of service, visitors can access the first floor of the building via a ramp. The Egypt Centre staff will be happy to help if required.

Baby Changing Facilities

Our accessible toilet on the ground floor is equipped with a convenient baby changing facility. To use it, simply pull down the sturdy, wall-mounted changing table. The table provides a safe and hygienic surface for changing your baby.

A second facility can be found in the ambulant toilet, which is located on the first floor of the building.

Places to Eat

The Egypt Centre does not have a cafe, but there are a variety of eateries on Campus. This includes Greggs, Starbucks, and Tortilla. There is also a Costcutter convenience store. More information can be found here. Note that these are not run or administered by the Egypt Centre.

There are seated areas within the Taliesin building where visitors can eat a packed lunch. Additionally, picnic tables are located on the Campus. However, please be aware of the gulls!
